Hey all, decided to make a Flash blogskin cos I'm kinda like bored of HTML, want to make my own blogskin and thought it would be kinda fun, so I won't be like posting here for quite some time... I guess I won't be posting here at all... Might be posting updates though. 02 Campfire

o.O very tired lol. lots of things happened today... ok maybe not lots of things... but more than usual xD. Was at com lab this morning doing SGCC and going to spectate for the Inter-Class soccer competition thing... but then they were apparently really short on soccer... despo enough to want ME to play. ME. o.O amazing isn't it.

anw it was ok... we lost all three matches (i wasn't surprised) but didn't lose that bad (i was quite surprised), especially for the first match when we lost 0 - 1 cos of a penalty shootout (no justin it's not your fault T.T).

after that went home to sleep for 2 hours cos was having a headache.... but then the nap didn't help. took a panadol instead, headache was gone in less than 1 hour. heh. then went for 02 campfire... thought would be late but wasn't... 02 campfire was ok... or maybe great. lol. at first was damn stone cos only got 02, 01 and RGS guides there... then 01 hyperred (LOL) when chu yong was doing some ownage dance with another guy.. then i think the APCG (asia-pacific conference on giftedness o.O) people next to us started being enthu. ok not next to us... next to the indian (cultural club i think) who were next to us... but they were some uber stone. nvm...

random: btw we have 10 days of holidays cos this week 7 days hols is for APCG, then last week friday they give us hol cos they said our sports cca did very well... plus the weekend is 10. it IS 10. dun believe go count again (ok that was random... no one said it wasn't 10 btw lol... i very random now)

the refreshments rocked. or at least the milo, cheese cake and sandwiches rocked. cos i dun take chili so i dunno 'bout the curry puffs. haha. took 2 cheese cakes at first... then randomed so took 4 more... then 1... then since i was such a random guy i took another 3 to make the number a nice number 10. ha. ha..

was caught in the rain yesterday... note to self: must get a poncho and a groundsheet. and thanks to rongjun for lending me his grounsheet. hehe. otherwise i would have been even wetter (not much difference though). lol and some of us noticed that the scout pants don't look wet when they are wet... just different... like another type of pants. honest!

Yay hols are here! Hols for 4 weeks... seems rather long but ISN'T NOT FAIRRR.... Let's see:

Coming back for AEP: 3 days (actually 4 but found out one day's busy, gotta tell Mr Tan)

o.O Ok that's not bad I guess xD.

So happy, I've got a free Wii from Infocomm Club, for winning SGCC last year I think... joining SGCC and some other competitions this year. xD They made me sign some contract that I participate actively in the competitions then they let me have the Wii. Failure to do so, apparently, only results in the teachers becoming disappointed (xD) and being not allowed to participate in other competitions. Which is kinda weird... Nvm I guess I'm quite active in Infocomm... and I want me Wii xDD

Went for founders day today... was rather BORING but the CRACKERS thingy at the end wasn't that bad... the video too. In fact I like the video most, out of the whole thing. And the laser display wasn't that bad either

Edward was at my house playing Wii yesterday... Helped me set up. And he played (R) LF2 while I was playing C&C Generals when dad and sis were koping the tv. Edward was really patient and nice... waiting for... 2-3 hours for scouts to finish, and then 2 more hours for me to get my ezLINK card.

Anurak wants us to sell DOUBLE the target... i've already sold SIX booklets and he was emoing me ystd, made me waste 3 hours stoning in the den -.- . So happy finally got back my hard disk yesterday from Chu Yong...

And great Anurak spilt silver paint on my waterbottle, both inside and outside. And didn't let me use turpentine to clean my gg-ed bottle... just a bit. Maybe cos he thinks I use as much water/turpentine as him. I think he uses like... 5 times the amount i use >.<>

now looking back, i think i shouldn't have sold so many tickets... then i wouldn't have come for act on friday. then i wouldn't have my bottle spilt with silver paint. then i would be ok. and edward wouldn't have to waste his time in J8. and i wouldn't have to waste my time in the den. and edward and i would have more time to play my Wii. And why did I sell so fast? cos of...

yay today's wednesday (lol). science was really fun today. really really fun. sad for *cough* panda *cough* who was emoing away. and again, today's science was fun, maybe one reason was cos he was emoing away... *ssh* teacher was asking us to come up with words regarding electricity... word splash or smth

Flash OS can't be real OS

Haiz so sad... Apparently so far I can't make an OS out of Flash... Not a really good one... Shucks.

Reasons:

Cannot detect USB drives
Will lag like poo if have lots of files (ok maybe not that bad)
So far can't find a way to save even the username and password so that the user can use the same one even after reopening it. which is the most important part.
can't make random programs like Flash CS3 (maybe I can... but i'll probably go crazy trying to do this)
Can't even make simple Office Applications such as PowerPoint (maybe can, but i'll also go crazy) and Excel (this one's worse)
Gonna lag like poo cos it's flash (lol) and lots of scripts, including loops and ifs would be running

But there's hope! Maybe if I could get people like Irvin (and i won't get Hubert cos he says he isn't pro) to help. Like get Irvin to figure out the USB problem :D (just to kill him)

Haiz. Gonna go back to the OS. Heh. Wonder when it'll be completed. Maybe gotta wait for like 3 more releases of Flash to be able to make everything work. :DD

Been a long time since I last posted in my blog... Annual Show was great! I think it went almost perfect... Heh the J1s even added their own lines from the actual script. :P I came out from backstage one time to watch a dance, i think the sec 2/3 one. heh the dances were ownage, especially the ventures. haha. speaking of which:

Thinking of making a Flash OS (exciting isn't it) :P Dunno if I should get others to help me... Lol already encountering problems already which can't make it a proper OS, one thing is that Flash can't seem to detect thumbdrives (as in like doesn't have option, not glitch). So sad...

And we just completed NAPFA, my results rather ok, but after comparing them with my female friends (note friends ONLY) i suddenly feel very inferior :'( My 2.4km timing was actually 12.01, which was one second more than B for 14, so teacher let me minus one second from the timing, became B. Which was a bit better than my goal (which was from 12 min to 13 min, around there, which would get me a C) :D

Now watching Hidalgo, and blogging from Firefox, using ScribeFire. :D pretty cool. Byee.

Long time since I last blogged...

01 ANNUAL SHOW COMING UP!!!! YAY so excited... Can't wait for it. I'm in Costume and Props, meaning we're gonna design and make the costumes for the dancers and actors. HAHAAAA.

My com zhong some stupid virus, damn irritating... but at least now i've blocked it access from the internet... lol. at least i think i have. So sian...

Yay today is Tuesday... Nth much in Digital Life, though we watched a really nice movie in AEP regarding Michaelangelo (or however you spell it). Looks like we're going to do Oil Painting for this semester for AEP... Sheesh...

Heh I like the two cute-cute bear-bears I bought, they seem to be a big hit in class. They're all squishy and cute. Lol. A favourite bearnapper of our class seems to be Marcus, followed by Edward. Edward likes to torture them (Right, Edward?) in various ways, including making them walk the plank (or ruler). I myself would rather make the bears hold hands and jump around (yea since their legs are joined together) and run away from the two avid bearnappers. Zzz :D

This now ends today's blog post, with me noting that my really great and nice mum (no sarc) has bought me this nice book, Six Thinking Hats. Seems rather interesting so far... So long since I last blogged... It's the new year!!!! YAYY!!! The new year... Lots of nice things and not so nice (note: it's not "not nice" but rather not "nice"... geddit? How about a graph...

Heh... It's now 2008... And 5 days into it! It already seems like a last time, as I look back at it... Or maybe it's cause I don't have my trusty watch with me, that tells me the date? Hmm... 2007 has been lots of fun, and it passed really quickly... 2008 on the other hand... It seems like it's going to be much more fun, with Secondary 1s under us Sec 2s in Scouts :) It still seems like I'm Sec1, until I stand next to a Sec 1... Haha. Now I'm waking up at 6am, which is a huge relief, compared to last year's 5.30am. :D

Yesterday we had the Raffles Trail. It was quite fun, maybe cause I spent quite some time in the Den guarding the den... :x I was helping out at the booth, which I think was easier than the performance. AFter the first act we were let off 1.5 hours ahead of the time they said! not bad right... During the Raffles Trail De Hong wanted me to lead a cheer after every class... Kinda weird, I guess, but I didn't really mind... Until I started losing my voice. Hehe... And everyone was koping my water from my waterbottle cos that was like the only bottle there. Lucky for me my mum didn't realise that I had lost my voice when I got home...

And another thing (really random) I'm finally a lvl 30 Fire/Poison mage

Hi everyone! Yay the time's come when tomorrow would be Christmas. However (*sighs*) the house doesn't seem to be having a festive... atmosphere? Lol... There isn't even a Christmas tree! OMG! (lol) Today IS the 24th isn't it...? *Checks computer calender...*

Spent the previous hour or two uploading (if you can call it that) the survey for our group's RE/ThinkQuest project. I've managed to get some people to do, as of now it's 23, although not everyone has completed it... sigh...

I'm later going to go to someone from church's house (Uncle Mong Hua's house) to celebrate Christmas (Eve) and countdown I think... Can't wait. It will be fun, won't it?

YM says this blog's good as dead. And I shall prove him wrong! Yaaaarrrr!!!

Haven't really been touching my Beijing Journal, supposed to have finished it by now. Sighh... Hols and yet so many things to do... Gotta go design the patrol's patrol log... bye!

Beijing Trip

Hi everyone, been such a long time since I last blogged (slightly less than 2 months). OMG. Was just looking through my cbox. Then scrolled all the way down. All by one person and one message. Lol... Then had to look under older messages to see what everyone said. Then I'm like omg so long nvr go to this blog liao. Lol. But now I'm here! (yay)

Thinking about changing the blogskin... Should i? This one now I think about it looks quite/very lame and boring. Even my ~~fat~~ sister's blogskin is nicer than mine lorh. Haha...

Anyway, I just came back from my trip to Beijing (and Xi'An). The trip was from 4 December to 7 December. Ok, maybe not just... But seems like it. My mum' getting us all (my two sisters and I) to write a journal each about the trip. When I'm done I'll post it here. Better than slowly typing out everything again. So, will keep you guys updated. But don't come and tell me that it sucks, cause I'm not saying that it's good (LOL) (but if it's good, I don't mind some encouragement). Zzz...

One terribly terribly lame useless tip when going to China: Bring lots of warm clothing if it's during winter or autumn! (Toldya it's lame). Nth else to say, so just saying random things now...

Sian. Really happy with my phone. Now it has... *counting* 37 games. Yay! But most of the games I'e played, nothing much else to play. so siannnn... Might/most probably be going to the house/condo in Bishan (Rafflesia) today/tonight to sleepover. I don' really see the point of me going, especially since there' going to be a nice show on National Geographic tomorrow, about dinosaurs. Most probably cause my sister's forcing me to go. Not confirm going to cause I might just decide not to go and my sis can't do anything about it.

Smth I ~~hate~~ don't like about this blogger cause when I'm typing too fast they won't register some letters, so I have to go back and add it in. Stupid right?

Don't know what to do now. Maybe I'll make a 3D model of the terra cotta warrior. Oh yea, good idea...

Nooooo... My firefox is screwing up. Don't know what'the problem, can't use it. I don't feel like venturing into new land and try Opera, Safari sucks on Windows, and Internet Explorer isn't any better. And again, maybe i'll try downloading Opera.

Yay. 20km was really fun, talking and telling jokes along the way, from Newton to Somerset (not lavender sry really mixed up), to Clarke Quay, to Chinatown, to Kallang, then to East Coast Park. If it was me walking,i would just walk straight from Newton to East Coast Park XP

way to go all of the participants. yay. altogether the prizes are 2 xbox 360 s, $2000 ( i think), four xbox 360 games, two trophies, a merit trophy. i still can't believe we won the FIRST prize for the web games AND the 3D games. especially since there was so many to change for the game. at least 63. XP and there were still GLITCHES! OMG

oh ya and then the reason for the title of this blog post is that i managed to get through the first round to get into the RIPB. Hope I can get through. Got to prepare for the interview. OMG the day for the interview apparently coincides with the date for the training thingy for the competition on making a 3D game. oh no... i hope the timing doesn't clash. if it does, wonder what i should do... try to change the time of my interview or skip some part of the training

can't wait for teacher's day to END. haha... then holidays liao.

Oh ya today's Storytelling thingy was great. really nice and fun and interesting and intriguing, and unique and enriching and excellent... see how the words get more and mroe chim as they go along... the story tellers were really good. yay. worth the $15 i think. yea should be, with the reception and stuff

and i've managed to get into the finals for the Raffles Hotel 120th Anniversary competition, where i had to paint/draw a picture of a part of the Raffles Hotel. Hope i can win, though it's like fat hope... sigh... mine looks like oil painting... as usual... i think it does look like oil painting at least, the technique. they might give me a prize, maybe 3rd, for interesting use of materials? XP

Wondering if I should go and play Age of Mythology. Decision made!

Today is Sunday. Sunday morning went to church. Pwned Sunday School again, went for the adult 10A.M. service. After that went to... my grandfather's brother, which is my dad's uncle, and my... granduncle?'s house. The food there was great. I liked the fried rice and the veggies (a little) and the deep fried thingy... dunno what was it, and the chocolate dessert the one with the solid chocolate on top of the cream puff thingy dunno what it's called and the free flow of feraro rochers YEA!!! haha

For dinner my mum cooked live crab. Really live in fact I think there are maybe... 4 or 5? crabs in the kitchen right now. Alive and struggling. They (my mum and dad) had some problem trying to incapacitate the crab. My dad sticked in a chopstick inside (wooden) and it broke. Cool isn't it. Then my mum took some chopper and then using the stone pestle to hammer it through the stomach thingy of the crab. then the crab was blowing bubbles, bubbles, bubbles... she took three crabs, about one and a half is for ketchup, and one and a half is for chilli. i ate three pincers, greedy me... feeling really sian

tried installing flyakite some days ago, then found out apparently my itunes doens't work. so i'm trying to uninstall it but it isn't working.. fei it. fei fei fei...

bought my in-ear earphones, they are easily dirtied, apparently, but i think it's cause of me putting the earphones at the bottom of the bag. not that bad, but rather blur or whatever you call it, the sound. muffled?

nothing really eventful, just being bored. trying to think of something to make in blender!!! someone help me... and i can't do people i think... too hard. sigh...

02 Campfire FTW!!!

YAY just came back from RI, from 02's (not that bad, though people said it sucks, sry :P) campfire. Ignite!!! BOOM. Yay the storyline was cool. Some guy called Mark was lonely, so he travelled around the world finding... a GF! Wa bomb. Then got the "CUTE AND CUDDLY" Sec 1s performing. Got See Yong Xin and Tan Peng Youn and Sudeep Agarwal performing. So funny! Accidentally in Love. Hawaiian Shirts. w00t!!!

Then got some games. First got some random Scavenger hunt. They took my scarf! THEY TOOK MY SCARF!!! and best part is to not take for themselves. It was for the St. Marg guides next to us... Then got the Newspaper game. Got a scout and a guide stand on newspaper, then got to step on it or smth, can't step outside the newspaper. then fold. and fold. and end up the scouts carrying the guides. Really cool. Marcus Ng went. I almost went, but saw got max liao. Then when i going back they said "don't go don't go!" then "aiya he scared". Sigh not scared, but got Marcus from 01 thereliao. Then i promised i'll go next game...

Next game. Got the scouts and guides pair up. I went. Maybe i shouldn't. but not that bad la. Got to pair up., I was rather slow, the most chio ones got picked liao. But my partner not that bad... :P Then got everyone blindfolded. Then got to get the guide to feed the scout apple. I was like "I'M SURE LA" but... haizz... Marcus took a picture of me. Going to get it from him soon. Then the girl really nice. I almost nibbled her fingers haha. Felt really... weird? I was a little cheating, scarf too high. But not my fault, if lower it'll fall off. then worse... anyway didn't win. but got some... experience? haha. Maybe i'll post a picture of it tmr or smth. Scouts' IMBAness

Double posting cause my prev post was so long i think. And my current post count is 95, including this one. 5 more to 100! Not bad... finally...

Scouts is IMBA. Yea. And 01 is more IMBA than 02. Yea. haha
On Wednesday we had batch bonding. Before scouts had class bonding... I took Kevin's waterbottle (I prefer borrowed though) and ran around the school. First time halfway Rajit came in, decided to help Kevin. Cause it was HIS bottle. Then i pity them, stopped, give back. Kevin put back on the lockers. Then I feeling wu liao, borrowed again and ran even more. Really fun. Ran around, around school. or more like around, around Junior block. Then i see kevin so pityful... decided to stop. I'm sure Kevin and Rajit couldn't catch me.

Then after that had scouts act. Ran from... Den to RJ track, run two/three rounds, did 25 pushups? and 25 situps? and then ran back to Raja Block. Then ran some more, ran to admin block linkway. Then we did frog jump (like squatting, hand behinds back, and jumped) across the linkway. I did some random mini Ranger jump, instead of on both toes throughout. My legs damn bomb... Maybe cause my legs are too nub. Esp my right leg. Then we had some station games, i was standing somewhere waiting and then i tried leaning on my right leg. Right leg was shaking, then got worse, had to almost totally lean on my left leg... Even if i stand of both legs equally i also can't stand... Couldn't be more grateful when that station game ended... sigh...

Aaaaaa I'm sure got another girl besides Amelia PE Running and other stuff more pro than me... Must try catch up >.< :P

KESTER ROCKS

Kester Teo of Class 1M ROCKS. Here's why...

I was sitting on my table in class, facing the board. Not a lot of people in class. It was during lunch time... waiting for 3.45 . Then I was sitting there, being wu liao, swinging my legs... Then got some nice person pulled me from behind. And best part was that i had my bag on, which (being scientific and wu liao...) "raised my Centre of Gravity greatly" cause my bag was damn heavy. And tables are light. That person pulled me, just enough for the table to go backwards, until the "Centre of Gravity was outside the base of the object" which was in this case me and the table and my bag. Great isn't it. Then I felt the amashing sensation of falling backwards slowly. And somehow everyone like out of reach, to hold me. I was falling, my legs, according to Kester were "stretched out straight ahead". Then I slow-mo fell backwards, and as i fell backward, "the more i fell the faster i fell" (oh boy Mr Pang might like this post with all the Scientific stuff :D ). Then I somehow slid off the table or smth or FELL off my table, towards the right side. (Listen this is the best part) I then, amashingly, fell on my back/tailbone, my head whacked (kester you should start feeling guilty) the table leg of kevin's table or weixuan's table. my hand like kena twisted weirdly and fell on it, hurt terribly. My knees rubbed on the carpet, my left knee kena injury cause of the stupid rubbing on the carpet. Then on top i see jia rong, kester and some other people. Jia Rong said he tried savingme by holding the table, and that at least it didn't crash on me, and said that (everybody listen up!) Kester pulled me!!! yay... Amazingly my head hurt less and i think was less injured than my wrist. I'm ok NOW though... And when edmund came in, saw me on the floor, asked Kester what happened. Kester said that somebody pulled me, i fell. Interesting...

Just downloaded (ok maybe not just) Vista Transformation Pack Version 7.0 . Everything working, even the sidebar, which is like finally... A little laggy, though i don't really mind. They even changed Internet Explorer and Windows Live Messenger. The Start Menu (finally managed to make it) has the nice search function. Dunno if it's meant to only search programs. i'm trying to ask raph and he isn't responding, evil raph.

The Simpsons' The Movie

Some movie marathon... Watched the simpsons today after the NDP celebration at RI. Went with Yi Ming, met some Sec 2s in front. Yi Ming rocks! He bought me some (cute) random ilovegg toy. I think the storyline for this one is better than Transformers. This one is about some nice GIANT glass unbreakable (almost) dome that cuts of Springsfield from the rest of the world, and is also about some sick stuff like what random boobwoman and bart (infamously) skating naked. Even got uncensored... Oh and went with Ming Lun the Spastic too.

Yay! Finally watched Transformers last night, only cause it was my sister's birthday. Finally... Had lots of fun, was really... erm... action-packed. But not much of a storyline... Just 10 robots chasing after a little cube, yea. Watched it at Plaza Singapura, Golden Village. But must admit, the graphics for Transformers rock!!!

Something that can be learnt from the movie:

How to get a girlfriend...
Ingredients needed:

Some random chiobu, has to have a current stupid boyfriend.
The opportunity to meet them, preferably at some lake and park.
A cool talking car that can transform.

Steps:

Get the girl to angst her current boyfriend and walk away.
Hope that the car changes the radio to some romantic music. If it doesn't, change it yourself...
Get the girl to get in the car, give her a lift.

Lol some time ago (long time ago) during Chinese lesson Edmund Ho of class 1M (mua ha ha) did something really stupid/funny...

Teacher told some other guy, not from 1M to seat next to Edmund. Edmund said smth like if he sits with him, he'll commit suicide. Teacher said, go lor, go and commit suicide (haha, i think). Then Edmund walks to the window. Opens the window. We all laughing and looking at himliao. Then his one foot step on the sill. Then he look at teacher, teacher didn't say anything. Then he put the other leg on the sill (dots) and then teacher made him come down...

The above incident has been translated to English from Chinese. Due to my incapability to remember and type out Chinese, and me being lazy too :D

Had a nice piano lesson today. Got the score for some nice Final Fantasy X song (To Zanarkand). Really nice (in my opinion)... lol

damn xian haven't got a lot of time lately. been sleeping really late. getting ulcers and swollen gum. my left side of the molar gum can flap. :P it's swollen such that in the morning when i clench my jaw i can feel the (really pain and swollen) gum. ouch... and when i chew on the left side it really hurts. stupid stupid stupid swollen gum. wish i could cut it off or smth... i don't have enough sleep. fei. fei fei fei. irvin's fei, btw. yea he's fei. and my gum on the inside part i can like pull it towards my tongue, and the flap flaps. lol. and i can feel the inside which is between my gum and teeth. and forsome odd and weird reason i like doing that. flipping open my gum. my average eating speed has been reduced to 1/4 it's original speed. cause:

i eat twice as slow (half my speed) cause the ulcer really hurts when i eat, dunno why. feels like i have a rather big grain of rice there. so i slow down. somehow i have a smaller appetite and it hurts when i eat, so i slow down by half (or smth). then i have to chew on my right side, can't chew on my left side, cause it'll really hurt, though dunno why my ulcer hurts whenever i am eating and/or drinking water. argh... so i'm eating the slowest in the family now. argh... quickly shoo shoo ulcer and swollen-gum-that-can-flip-and-is-really-painful-and-fun-when-i-flip.

got the new raffles wrist-band. GREEN BLACK WHITE yay. with Raffles embossed and/or imprinted. dunno which one. and dunno why i use "and/or" so often.
